LOGITECH MOUSE RESET BUTTON INSTALL

The mouse and computer remain connected on this channel until you connect to the same computer on a different channel or use the same channel to connect to a different device.
LOGITECH MOUSE RESET BUTTON SOFTWARE
As what Cindy Groves commented, rather than using Logitech Options, we recommend you to download and install the Logitech Setpoint Software instead then do the 'Restore Defaults' option. (A slowly blinking light means the mouse was unable to complete the connection.) Apparently, we don't have a specific reset button that we can do for this model of the mouse. Upon pairing, the selected channel number light on the mouse stops blinking and remains steady for 5 seconds.

It straight up isn't receiving anything useful from the buttons, and I can't use them to set buy binds or anything like that. When I try to assign anything to the buttons on CSGO, for example, clicking the buttons does basically nothing. However, after the fiddling I did, I cannot get it back to that state. This worked when I first got the mouse, and was the input received on something like CSGO for example (when I set a keybinding from the ingame menu, it displayed as MOUSE4/MOUSE5 and worked exactly as I wanted). In the end, I actually decided I only really needed the extra buttons to act like extra keyboard keys, so I used the various "restore defaults" buttons I could find around the software to try to set it back to simply outputting MOUSE4/MOUSE5 when pressed. Obviously, since the Logitech mice come with downloadable software for the setting up of macros and stuff, I jumped right aboard that train and started experimenting with the stuff I could do with it.

Recently got a G302 for myself, my first time going anywhere near anything like a "gaming mouse" so I went for a little less pricy mouse which still looked good.
